How Can You Support This Program?
Each year help 300 families celebrate Thanksgiving by removing the financial barriers that many families face. We do so by delivering the ingredients families need to make these holiday meals. Our program runs alongside Bountiful Basket Food Shelf and together we are able to support over 600 families. These programs are only made possible by the generosity of neighbors like you. Without volunteers, food drives and donors, we would not be able to bless our neighbors with the gift of belonging and celebration that comes from sharing a meal with others. Below you will find several options on how you can be a part of our Turkey & Fixings program.
Host a Food Drive or Donate: Please consider hosting a food drive at your church, work, school or even among your friends. Make a food donation directly to the church.
Purchase a turkey: By making a donation at Mackenthun’s in Waconia, you will be helping purchase one of 300 turkeys need for this year’s program.
Make a Monetary Donation: For your convenience you can donate to this program by clicking on the donate button. Please be sure to Apply your gift to “Turkey & Fixings of Carver County 2025”
Volunteer: Help us pack meals and deliver to families in need. As a reminder, we have two host churches. Please double check which church you are signing up for, so you end up at the right church on delivery day.
